For People Helping Humanity

Building systems of support and solidarity to create a resilient movement of changemakers working to challenge and change unjust systems

Current Projects

Founding Members

We are building our membership base and looking for fiscal members to contribute to the collective for as little as $2AUD/month. Membership entitles you to voting rights to shape the overall direction of the collective, distribution of funds, etc.

Digital Platform

We are fundraising to build, launch, and run a Mutual Aid Australia platform for 12 months. This multi-vendor marketplace will allow people to share tools, resources, and services they can offer/exchange with the community, while allowing those in need to directly contact and build relationships with others for support.

Community Care Fund

The Community Care Fund offers immediate financial support to individuals and communities in need of emergency mental health care, trauma recovery, and other critical well-being services. We are fundraising to train a member of the collective as a Mental Health First Aid trainer.

As part of this broader network, Mutual Aid Australia operates beyond the constraints of any single organisation or issue area, offering support to grassroots changemakers across diverse communities and causes. The Humanitarian Changemakers Network’s commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation enables Mutual Aid Australia to be a powerful force for good, empowering changemakers to address pressing social challenges with agility and resilience.
